We had a great turn out at our drive-thru flu shot clinic this morning at Mercy Hospital Southwest! Attendees received a free flu shot from the convenience of their vehicles. If you weren’t able to make it don’t stress, you still have two more chances. We will be at Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 30th from 11am-2pm and Mercy Hospital Downtown on Sunday, October 10th from 10am-12pm. We hope to see you there!

Each year Mercy & Memorial Hospitals hosts the Angel Baby Memorial Service to provide an opportunity for families who have lost pre-term babies, in one of our birth centers, to celebrate the life and loss of their little one. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the memorial service is being held virtually. Please take time to pause and reflect as you watch this service.
If you would like to visit the cemetery on your own, Greenlawn Southwest is open this weekend and there are keepsake poems available at the Celebration of Life building.

Truth: Years of science and innovation have paved the way for this vaccine to be delivered quickly. Two reasons the vaccines were developed quickly are because mRNA vaccines can be produced faster than other vaccines, and researchers used existing clinical trial networks to begin conducting COVID-19 vaccine trials as soon as possible.
