WATER UPDATE
We are aware of the drop in pressure, With everyone dripping water and the EXTREME low temps outside today, there is nothing we can do. We have a generator in place incase we lose electric, but we cant control the air temps that are affecting the lines and wells. Please bare with us and notify us Immediately if you see any water line breaks. Please be safe if you have to go outside today.

I wanted to take a moment and make sure that everyone is aware of the weather forecast for this coming weekend. This is going to be a bad storm.
The Park has made arrangements to have a generator on hand starting this weekend. We are going to do everything in our ability to keep the water running. Please remember that our water comes from a well and is pumped by electric pumps, If the power goes out our water doesn't pump. We are standing by and ready to put a generator inline incase of any power outages. In order to avoid frozen pipes and issues we suggest everyone drip water at the endmost point of your home. Open cabinet doors if the heat should go off. Make sure your skirting is closed up tight and take every step you can to get your home ready for this storm.

SNOW UPDATE: This Sunday PM has the likelihood of being huge in Oklahoma. Looking over the data shows many of us receiving near/over a foot of snow at the end of the weekend and into Monday
In the past, we have usually struggled with temperatures and when the changeover from ice to snow would occur. In this next storm, we won't have that problem. With temperatures in the single digits, this will fall as ALL SNOW. The lower the temperatures, the drier the snow and thus the fluffier the snow. It can add up real fast and this will be one of those storms.
Rare for Oklahoma, but so is this cold. Watching closely.
Please Help Spread the word. The weather is nice enough that the well is starting to thaw. PLEASE TURN OFF your dripping water! We need everyone to stop running water so the system can build up pressure again. It is not forecasted to drop below freezing again in the next ten days, so there shouldn't be any issues.

ENERGY CONSERVATION UPDATE | Western Farmers, at the direction of SPP, has notified NFEC that our members should prepare for and expect rotating controlled power interruptions beginning in the morning hours on Wednesday as they work to shed load during the morning peak. Please take time now to think about morning routines and what you might need to prepare in the event you experience a power interruption.
Unfortunately, because the rolling outages are not coordinated at the local distribution level, NFEC cannot predict exactly where and when each controlled interruption will happen. We do know interruptions are expected to last 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
NFEC encourages continued conservation of energy over the next few days.
We are doing our best to keep everyone informed as the situation develops, but information changes very quickly. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this unprecedented energy emergency with the hopes that you all stay as safe and warm as possible.
Hey folks...our power company hit us with a rolling blackout. Give us a few minutes and the generator should be running....this SHOULD keep our water flowing. Hang in there everyone!
