We want to assure you that as soon as we believe it is safe to resume services, we will. Whether you are one of our valued customers, or a potential customer, we look forward to scheduling a time to clean your home as only we can.
To Our Merry Maids Family,
For the safety of our staff and customers, we will be suspending operations at this time.
We hope to resume operations on Monday April 13th, however we will continue to assess the situation daily and make an informed decision as we draw closer to that date. We will contact each customer individually and confirm if you are ready to resume at that time.
Please take care of yourselves during these trying times. We look forward to seeing you all again soon, and appreciate your loyalty for the last 27 years.
Stay safe,
Becky, Tracy, Janet and Teams
To Our Valued Merry Maids Customers,
As experts in creating clean, safe and healthy environments, we at Merry Maids would like to share a few tips to help prevent the spread of illness.
The current flu season, along with the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), offers an opportunity to reinforce the importance of keeping your home clean, safe, and healthy.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has provided guidance on the best ways to protect yourself from exposure to illness:
路 Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
路 If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
路 Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
路 Avoid close contact with people who are sick. (This would likely include team members visiting homes of customers who are sick.)
路 Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
路 Stay home when you are sick.
Our team members routinely clean high-touch surfaces in your home during every cleaning but special attention has been/will be paid to cleaning these surfaces during your recent and upcoming cleanings.
Similar to the recommendations listed above, we are also asking our team members to stay home when sick and exercise an abundance of caution. We ask that you, our customers, notify us if you or someone in your home has been sick, and if someone is currently ill we ask to skip your scheduled cleanings until they are well again. Our top priority is the health and wellness of our staff and customers at this trying time.
It is important to keep in mind that COVID-19 is a new and emerging pathogen. We at Merry Maids pride ourselves on maintaining the clean and safe environment in your home and a safe environment for our team members.
As more information surrounding COVID-19 is made available by local, state and national authorities, we will strive to keep you updated on ways to maintain a safe environment within your home.
Best Regards,
Becky Sullivan
