Our parent company, McElroy Metal, began manufacturing metal building components in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1963. The first Metal Mart location was opened in Austin, Texas in 1985 as a retail outlet, open to the public. Grown to over 40 locations in 6 states attributed to the combination of great customers, great products, and great employees.
