Congratulations to Ruzanna Simonian, RN! She received the DAISY Award for her encouragement and steadfast positive attitude she gave her patient. She was nominated by her patient who went through a six-hour-long ankle surgery. The patient was in pain and discouraged about the amount of therapy that needed to be done. She was always supportive and positive, cheering the patient on. Ruzanna showed how much she loved her job through her compassion, empathy, professionalism and positivity. Thank you, Ruzanna! Well-deserved.

Virtual Crystal Ball Gala Raises $525,000 for Methodist Hospital
Even though the 31st annual Crystal Ball fundraising gala was not held in its traditional format, the Methodist Hospital Foundation was able to raise more than $525,000 in support of the COVID-19 fund at Methodist Hospital. The Nov. 21 virtual event honored our hospital’s Frontline Heroes with a VIP Drive-Thru Reception and live television broadcast on YouTube.
