A Cookie Monster Geode!!!

This adorable geode rocked our world and put a smile on our faces! Dubbed the "Cookie Monster" geode after the Sesame Street character, this volcanic agate geode was found by a miner in a riverbed in Soledade, Brazil in November, 2020. A GIA graduate then contacted California-based geologist, Mike Bowers, who purchased this extraordinary find. Collectors have offered him over US$10,000 for this geode. That's enough to buy a lot of cookies!
