Meyers Smokehouse is holding a job fair on Fri October 30 from 2 to 4 . We will be looking for folks with experience in cutting, cashier and drive thru, or just strong customer service skills. Please bring 2 forms of ID as we will be hiring some that day. We will be interviewing in our party room . Ask for James.

Well, I cooked 5 pans of dressing last week and ran out just before 5:30, so this week I’m baking 6! Turkey n dressing plates all day (hopefully) or until we run out. First 4 pans just out of the oven, prepping the last 2 now.
Job fair is Thursday nov 5, 2 to 4 pm in Meyers Smokehouse party room. Numerous positions being hired for, including cashier, cutter and drive through. Ask for James Jackson.

Thursday, nov. 19 is our last Thursday for Turkey and dressing plates. We apologize to those folks who were unable to pre order pickup plates. This week you can pre order your turkey and dressing plates for pickup if you prepay over the phone(512-281-3331). We will take preorders for plates up to our 8 pm closing time on wed, nov 18.
Our concern has been that we would run out of dressing and disappoint some of our customers. Dressing takes over 4 hours to make from start to baking finish, so it’s not something that can be made quickly.

UPDATE - Meyers Smokehouse bbq will open drive thru at 9 am and INSIDE DINING AND RETAIL MARKET WILL BE OPEN AT 10 AM. Our main bathrooms are having power issues, but the small bathrooms behind our retail market are available!
