"What I value the most about MHP is the excellence of care our team provides. Our team works very hard to provide you with the best one on one care. You have a voice at MHP, I have the ability to go knock on any provider's door and they will listen to me. You can not find those things at larger institutions." -Dr. Habib

Breast cancer is the second leading cancer among women in the US, but millions of women are surviving the disease—thanks in part to regular screening, early detection, and improvements in treatment. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, women are encouraged to maintain a healthy weight, be physically active and limit how much alcohol they drink to help reduce the risk of breast cancer. Be sure to encourage the women in your life to schedule and complete their annual mammograms. https://bit.ly/2OzPalJ

The MHP Medical Center was designed and built with many new measures to prevent the spread of contagious viruses and illnesses. Here is what we have done and continue to do to help control and eliminate infection spread at MHP.
• Air entering and circulating throughout the Medical Center passes through high-efficiency filtration and Ultraviolet-C light units.
• We've stepped-up housekeeping throughout the Medical Center. Many of our staff now assist our housekeeping employees in wiping down furniture, contact surfaces, and touch screens throughout the facilities.
• All MHP staff are properly trained and required to wear PPE, wash their hands and use hand sanitizer. We've always done this and always will.

MHP Incident Command has taken a temporary break from our weekly Covid updates. We have postponed our internal Incident Command meetings because our Covid activity both inpatient and outpatient has decreased into a very manageable level for the time being. In the event Covid activity increases or we determine the need to reconvene for any reason, we will resume with our weekly Covid updates. MHP continues to highly recommend masks, social distancing and proper hand hygiene. And we strongly encourage everyone to get their Covid vaccine(s) as soon as they are eligible.
