Dr. Michael Butcher is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with 40 years of experience diagnosing, treating, and curing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. He prides himself on the fact that he and Dr. Aptekar have been in practice together for 30 of those 40 years, providing high-quality orthopedic services in a beautiful region that draws from about 2 million residents. Both doctors recently earned honors as America’s Top Orthopedists and Top Doctors in the Silicon Valley. Dr. Butcher received his medical degree in 1966 from West Virginia University Medical School and then served in the military. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Navy man for 12 years, where he piloted aircraft and was a flight surgeon.
