Dr. Stypula acquired his degrees from St. Bonaventure University (BS- Biology, 1976), and Temple University School of Dentistry (Doctor of Dental Science, 1983); with post-graduate Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania , and Continuing Medical Education at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (1997 - Periodontics and Implants, M.D.S.).
Dr. Stypula earned his Laser Periodontal Therapy license from the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, and is an active member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon 1983 Kappa kappa chapter; American Academy of Periodontology member since 1999; United States Army - Lieutenant Colonel active reservist; American Dental Association; Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania; and Temple Oral Surgery Honorary Society 1983.
