George, Architect. Degrees and Awards: With a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington in 1981, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC) in 1982, Michael has gone on to receive a number of awards. He has been awarded the A.I.A. Scholastic Award "The Certificate of Merit," and the Grand Prize of the Design Competition with the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit.
