About Dr. Slimack
Dr. Slimack is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement. He performs minimally invasive hip and knee replacement that oftentimes may be done as an outpatient. As one of the leading outpatient total joint replacement surgeons in southeast Wisconsin, he routinely replaces hips through the ANTERIOR APPROACH- a truly minimally invasive surgery with tendency for faster recovery.
Dr. Slimack also treats sports medicine-related injuries and performs knee arthroscopy, including arthroscopically-assisted ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery. He completed his fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the University of Chicago Bone and Joint Replacement Center. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University and his undergraduate degree from Yale University.
