Thanks for stopping by! I’m Mike- an easy-going, Subaru-loving, outdoorsy creative from East Haddam, Connecticut. Most of my time is spent with a camera (or two) in hand documenting people’s lives- pretty awesome! Outside of photographing people I enjoy mountain biking, landscape photography, camping/ hiking with my wife and dogs, and fishing. My passion for photography began back in 2008 when a good friend of mine lent me his camera. I quickly discovered my love for the trade and ever since have spent countless hours learning and developing my skills.
I don’t just ‘take wedding pictures or family pictures,’ I capture moments between couples and families that show their connection to one another. These candid memories truly portray the essence of individual personalities and allow for the most genuine emotions to shine through. I create a relaxing and fun experience where you can just be you. My clients say that I make them feel comfortable, natural, and in their element- resulting in photographs that truly represent who they are.
My photography style is candid, clean, and timeless with a modern touch. I focus on documenting and preserving your most precious stages in life: getting married, welcoming a newborn baby, watching your children grow up way too fast, and graduating high school. No matter what type of session you are interested in, I am committed to providing an easy, stress free, and excellent customer experience.
These days there are many photographers to choose from. I am honored to work with many outstanding couples and families who put their trust in me. Couples- each wedding is unique. I love working with couples who are down-to-earth and adventurous. I specialize in intimate weddings (up to 150 of your closest family and friends). Weddings full of personal details are awesome and reflect well in photographs. Families- I love working with close-knit families who enjoy exploring and playing together.
