More sad news:( Leon Spinks passed away today. When I met him, I told him that because I am a dentist, this is my favorite Sports Illustrated cover. He added “smile” to his signature, which made me love it even more. He may have beaten my favorite athlete of all-time (Ali) but meeting Leon is something that I’ll never forget. RIP Champ!

The passing of Joe Altobelli is a very sad day for the entire baseball world but especially for Rochester Community Baseball. I always looked forward to seeing Joe at the ballpark. He always took the time to say hello and ask me how things were going in the office. He will be missed.
