Michael Tyshkov, M.D. is the Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Staten Island University Hospital, Northwell Health. During his 25 years of clinical experience he has dedicated himself towards making sure that he has the most advanced and extensive training that is available for his field. Dr. Tyshkov is board certified in his specialty, and is a member of The North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. His broad academic endeavors include research published in several US scientific magazines, and being the head of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at academic centers in both New Jersey and New York. The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology offers specialized care for a broad spectrum of medical conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, and pancreas, and for disorders of nutrition. Our program offers state-of-the-art comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, therapy and follow-up of children from birth to 21 years of age.
