CHP – Barstow January 28 at 1:46 PM · Attention motorists planning to travel to or from Las Vegas via Interstate 15, Friday 1/28. ❄️ Snow, 🧊 Ice, 🌧 and Rain is expected throughout the desert 🌵 and higher elevation areas. There is a possibility the freeway could be affected due to snow and ice conditions from the town of Baker, CA to the Nevada State Line. Motorists can use Interstate 40 east from Barstow to US 95 north as a detour around high elevation areas that could be affected. Always travel prepared with plenty of fuel, food, and water.
