Michele Farber, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at Schweiger Dermatology Group. Dr. Farber’s expertise includes skin cancer as well as general, cosmetic, and procedural dermatology.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and has published extensively in peer-reviewed dermatology journals, authored book chapters, and lectured at dermatology conferences.
Dr. Farber completed her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Prior to her residency, she completed her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Farber earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and graduated cum laude from Duke University. Throughout her medical education, Dr. Farber received numerous awards including the American Dermatological Association Fellowship, the Dean’s Research Program Fellowship, and the George McClellan Surgical Honor Society. Dr. Farber is a clinical assistant in the dermatology department at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
During her consultations, Dr. Farber fully explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan. She gives each patient her focused attention, and she prides herself on delivering the best treatment available.
When Dr. Farber is not seeing patients, she enjoys swimming, playing tennis and traveling.
