Meet Ella @elladejager_09
Ella has been training on and off with strength coach Rachel since May of 2019. Ella is a HS sophomore playing soccer defense. As of recently Ella made the commitment of increasing her training to 4x a week, every week. Most impressively, Ella has dialed in with her nutrition, which most of us know is not so easy sometimes. Through this she has seen increased results such as not being able to do a single chin up when she first started to now being able to do at least 4 and growing. Ella loves coming to MECA, as its the best hour of her day which gets her out of the house and away from the distractions of the world and has not only increased her overall strength but confidence as well. This helps with improving the quality of life and mental health for the better. Ella enjoys challenges and trying new things and recently has started learning olympic style weightlifting. In 12 weeks, Dakota put on 20 lbs of muscle. He came in every day ready to work and dialed in his nutrition by increasing his caloric intake and consistently hitting his macro goals. Dakota added 77 lbs to his Close Grip Bench Press, 37 lbs to his Scott Curl and added 6 inches to his vertical.
Dakota is a running back for South Lyon High School. We can’t wait to see him dominate on the field this Fall.

Are you sufficiently hydrated? Your body is composed of around 60% water. Water makes you stronger 💪🏼 Starting a workout in a dehydrated state can lead to a reduction in strength, power, and endurance. Not good if you’re trying to perform. Make sure you drink about half of your body weight in ounces per day to stay adequately hydrated!
