How Dr. Leslie uses dry needling and the Pentamodel Method.
Laser Therapy or LLLT is becoming more prevalent as a treatment for decreasing inflammation and pain.
When choosing the right laser therapy for you, it is important to know that not all lasers are created equal.
Some important questions to ask are:
How many wavelengths does the laser unit provide?
Is the laser class 3 or 4?
Does the laser make skin contact?
Bioflex Laser:
Provides 3 wavelengths for optimal healing.
-Red SLD.
-Infrared SLD.
-Infrered Laser.
Class 3b-Too little power has no effect and too much power can cause tissue damage through heating.
Bioflex class 3b laser makes skin contact so that photons penetrate deep into target tissues. Often, class 4 laser do not make skin contact and up to 80% of the light is reflected away.
