Dr. Bigelow graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in Psychology in 2005, then completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2009. He completed a two year general practice residency at the VA Hospital in 2011 before he joined our practice in August, 2012. He enjoys interacting with all the wonderful patients and dental team members. He is committed to exceeding the needs of his patients and the community.
He is a part-time faculty member in the General Practice Department at the VCU School of Dentistry teaching in the pre-doctoral clinics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society.
Outside of the dental field, Dr. Bigelow enjoys playing golf, racquetball, sailing and collecting vinyl records. In addition, he is a musician playing the piano, guitar and trumpet, along with singing in his church choir. He is also involved with the Lions Club and CrossOver clinic.
