The guys finished this simple but effective sidewalk today. Strongly recommend pavers over poured concrete, especially around trees! Concrete can heave or crack causing you to replace the entire walkway or patio. Any problem with pavers (which there shouldn’t be with proper construction) you can simply replace the affected area. Relaid a nice paver driveway apron today. The original sand bedding material had washed out causing the pavers to dip and sink in certain spots. We pulled all the pavers and reinstalled them on top of clean 3/8” chip bedding. Water will be able to flow freely underneath without disrupting the bedding material.
