Dr. Greg Hueler grew up in Duluth, MN, and attended St. Olaf College. He graduated from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry in 1985 and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis. He then completed a one year of Oral Surgery Teaching Fellowship at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Hueler completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Illinois in 1992. He has held a variety of teaching positions since 1992 and has served as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He worked and instructed at Hennepin County Medical Center and at the University of Minnesota from 1992 to 2001.
Dr. Hueler served for six years as an Examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is presently a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been a guest lecturer locally, nationally and internationally on various oral surgery topics. Since 2001 he has been in private practice with a special interest in implant placement and restoration. Dr. Hueler is dedicated to providing the very best care to each and every one of his patients. He and his wife have three boys.
Dr. Noah Sandler is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 1991. He attended the University of Pittsburgh Medical School where he received his medical degree in 1995. He received his oral surgery certificate from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1998.
Upon graduation until 2005, Dr. Sandler taught Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Minnesota during his tenure, serving as resident, student, and clinical director. He joined Dr. Gregory Hueler in practice in June 2005, but continues to lecture locally and nationally, primarily on anesthesia and implant techniques. His wife and two children live in a suburb of Minneapolis. In his free time, Dr. Sandler is an avid runner who trains year round.
Dr. Diana Lyu completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and received her dental degree from the University of Southern California. After completing her dental training, she completed a one year clinical fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her four additional years of oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Minnesota. During her training, Dr. Lyu was able to participate in many additional training opportunities, including training general dentists and office staff in safe nitrous oxide and IV sedation practices as well as participating in the national anesthesia standardization simulation course.
Dr. Lyu is well trained in all disciplines of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including evaluation and treatment in the areas of dentoalveolar, implant, orthognathic, cosmetic, and pathology surgery. She enjoys working with all patients and developing a relationship to provide the utmost patient centered care. Dr. Lyu enjoys spending her free time out of the office exploring Minnesota. She enjoys swimming, pilates, and walking with her French bulldog.
