State Farm® customers to receive refund of deductibles from 2018 Woolsey Wildfire starting later this year.
Southern California Edison Company announced a settlement was reached in a subrogation case where State Farm® sought recovery of damages incurred as a result of the 2018 Woolsey Wildfire. Policyholders who incurred a deductible will receive a deductible refund after receipt of settlement funds which is not expected until May 2021.
State Farm® is pleased to refund policy deductibles to policyholders impacted by the 2018 Woolsey Wildfire who incurred a deductible applied to covered losses.
Policyholders who incurred a deductible will receive a deductible refund after receipt of settlement funds which is not expected until May 2021.
Deductibles are being refunded to policyholders via checks or electronic funds transfer (EFT).
State Farm® did not have legal standing to seek recovery of any uninsured or unreimbursed losses sustained which were not covered by your policy.
