An LC9 refresher build with some spicy changes inside! 👀 We did this build a few months back. The original issue was the infamous "belt chirp" sound from engine. Turns out, it wasn't a belt 😑. Luckly it was caught before it got too bad. Another happy customer back on the road! 😎

We’ve found a bad ground on the chassis of this vehicle. A vehicle code scan came up with a few modules not communicating with the PCM. All non communicating modules shared one common thing, grounded at the chassis. Turns out, the ground wire from cab to chassis is the only location that feeds the ground to the chassis. It wasn’t broken before the video or pictures. It was broken but a slight “tug by hand” motion and fell to pieces. The video shows that when the weight of the vehicle shifts, a temporary ground contact was made.
Tyler is currently tearing down a 6.4l Powerstroke. This one had a few surprises for us in the oil pan and strainer. We then decided to pull the heads and found that cylinder 8 at some point in time came in contact with one exhaust valve and one intake valve. The piston wasn’t sitting in the cylinder quite right so we pulled the piston out. S shaped connecting rods don’t work well in engines..
