These particular SCAMMER CALLS are stating it is representative of the Social Security Administration and that your Social Security Number has been compromised. (This is a SCAM) The SCAMMER will ask you to push "1" and will ask for your name and give you a case number. They will say they are acting with the authority of the Social Security Administration and the Better Business Bureau...the SCAMMER even go as far as to give you a case number and say their name is Officer (such in such) and an ID number. The SCAMMER will then ask you to repeat your case number. (DO NOT PROCEED - HANG UP IMMEDIATELY) All of this is recorded so they can get key pieces of your information and have you recorded stating it. IT IS A SCAM! Please pass along this information to your elder family members and your college students.
