Yesterday we were treated to this day-brightening surprise by our friends at Highland Elementary School! Thank you so much to the students, staff, and parents there for their love and support--this means a lot to us. We all (especially our residents) look forward to more fun and crafts with you in the future!
Highland Elementary School is a neighbor to us in Midland Park and we have enjoyed a mutually fulfilling activity program between their students and our residents for several years.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued cooperation with our current visitor restriction protocol. We all hope to discontinue these measures as soon as safely possible.
As we've told our residents and their responsible parties, we are continuing to provide (and come up with) activities that do not include outside performances or guests, and to otherwise keep things as close to normal as possible from our residents' point-of-view. That said, we have increased our already healthcare-level infection control measures and we have also been holding new informational sessions for our residents conducted by our Director of Healthcare Services on COVID-19 and how it affects the community.

Happy February! We are continuing our regular maintenance with several larger updates throughout our community this month and beyond (new carpeting, new backup generator, new resident park and garden area, and more)--but that won't slow down our social and active lifestyle. Attached is our Activity Calendar for the month full of live music, art classes, outings, games, intellectually engaging activities and more.

Happy New Year to all our Residents, Family Members, and Friends!
Our annual Holiday Party for our residents was a big success. With our residents' guests included we had over 170 people in attendance! We were treated to a performance by our Resident and Staff Choir and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and other refreshments prepared by our Culinary Team. We throw 3 big Family & Friends Parties each year, but the fun doesn't stop in-between. At 2 PM on the 31st we were already celebrating the New Year with a countdown and toast amid live music and refreshments. We also bid Happy Retirement to our long-time driver, singer, and dancer--Andy B! And thanked him for all the good work and good fun. We are now proud to welcome aboard our new driver and MG team member: Joe!

Happy Holidays Everyone! For the 6th straight year, we are very happy to share that we have been awarded "Advanced Standing" status following our recent NJ State survey! This means we meet the mandatory State criteria for assisted livings and exceed in several areas.
