About Dr. Knott
Haydee Knott, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon at Mill Valley Dermatology in beautiful Mill Valley, California. Valuing lasting results and patient satisfaction, Dr. Knott uses high-end, professional-grade products and performs all procedures herself using her keen talent and extensive knowledge of dermatology.
Raised in Southern California, Dr. Knott is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. For her medical education, she attended the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.
Following the completion of her degree, Dr. Knott completed an internship in internal medicine and a subsequent residency in dermatology at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. She then returned to California for a fellowship in cosmetic and laser surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Knott’s talent in dermatology has not gone unrecognized throughout her career. Early in her career, she received a National Institutes of Health award to conduct research on psoriasis at Case University in Cleveland, Ohio, and conducted clinical research in dermatology at Cleveland Clinic. She has also participated in over 15 clinical trials and has published her own research.
To stay up-to-date in her practice, Dr. Knott attends 30 hours of continuing education per year and attends local and national meetings of her peers. She is a member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
When she isn’t at Mill Valley Dermatology treating acne, spider veins, rosacea, or wrinkles with advanced techniques, Dr. Knott enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three kids. During her time in Cleveland, she explored her ongoing passion for music by learning to play the cello.
