Brenda Enoch recently joined the Miller's family as a Client Care Specialist based in our Canton office. She will work with all Service/Repair requests for the Canton and Akron locations. Brenda is originally from Alliance and now lives in Perry Township. She and her husband have 15 grandchildren and a rescue dog named Deezel. He is a 4-year old German Shepherd that they adore. Miller’s Staff Spotlight – Lucretia Cunningham Lucretia is a longtime member of our Billing Team. For over 19 years, she has been an integral contributor to making sure that our claims are billed and paid correctly. She focuses on Medicare billing now though has experience with many different payers. Lucretia does a terrific job keeping up with the changes in Medicare policies and helping our clients by ensuring their claims are paid as quickly as possible. Lucretia is the mother of six children ranging in age from 16-35. She especially enjoys cheering on her 2 youngest in their multiple sports and spending time with her family. Miller’s Update 11/20/2020 After reviewing all new orders and advisories released by the State of Ohio, County and City Governments this week, Miller’s is happy to share that we remain open and will continue serving you. Our products and services are essential for you. The health of our clients, staff and referral partners continues to be our top priority. We have been operating safely and effectively throughout this pandemic and are proud of the fact that we have never closed, just temporarily slowed down back in the spring. Safety measures are in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our staff is practicing extreme caution and utilizing all forms of PPE (personal protective equipment). Happy Anniversary Skip Rockhold! Skip hit the thirty year mark with Miller’s in 2020, and we think that is a tremendous accomplishment. He has impacted thousands of our clients over that time. Skip has worked in many different roles during his time at Miller’s including time at each of our four locations. He is currently the Fabrication Tech Supervisor based in our Cleveland office. His influence is far reaching because he has had a role in training each and every other Fabrication Technician we have on staff. “SUPER shout out to our technician Skip!!! He delivered my sons equipment during the middle of the covid pandemic and even though it was a "no contact" drop off he made sure that the equipment made it inside of our home! Thanks for always being there for us!”

Happy 15th Anniversary to the dynamic duo of Tim Smith and Ron Hayden! They both started their Miller’s careers within a few days of one another in November 2005. That was a good week in Miller’s history. Ron and Tim have served as Homecare Delivery Drivers based out of our Akron location. They have covered our entire service area including deliveries throughout the Canton, Cleveland, and Youngstown areas. They make a great team at Miller’s and are good friends outside of work. They have really stepped up in this crazy Covid year of 2020 ensuring that our oxygen clients never missed a delivery no matter what. Ron and Tim have also served as elves on more than one occasion delivering Christmas presents donated by Miller’s staff. Here they are this year delivering gifts to ACCESS, Inc. Thank you both for your many years of service and dedication – looking forward to many more!
Happy Anniversary Missy Browning! Missy celebrated her 15th year with Miller’s in 2020. She has been an integral member of our Akron Rehab Client Care Specialist Team during her time here. Missy is on the front lines working with physicians, therapists, and other medical professionals to ensure we have the appropriate paperwork/medical justification to obtain approvals for new wheelchairs and related mobility equipment. If you have received new mobility equipment from us since 2005, then it is likely that Missy had a role in that. Missy is as dependable as they come and someone her co-workers can always count on to help out. We appreciate you Missy and look forward to many more years of working with you!
Happy Anniversary Larry Dye! He hit the 20 year mark with Miller’s in 2020. Thank you for all you have done over the past two decades. Larry began as a Fabrication Technician in our Akron location. He was one of the original members of the Youngstown crew when we opened that branch in 2004 and has been based there ever since. Larry is an outstanding Assistive Technology Practitioner who always comes up with creative solutions for any situation. There isn’t anything he cannot fix or adapt. His clients, therapists, and co-workers love working with him. We are so happy to have you as part of the Miller’s family and look forward to 20 more years!

Miller’s Staff Spotlight – Jim Friedlein Jim has been a member of the Miller’s family since 2004. He is the Service Department Director and has forgotten more about repairing wheelchairs than most technicians will ever know. He loves working in our Service/Repair department because he “loves to fix things and the challenges in fixing the problem helping our clients’ stay independent.” Jim first started in this career because his father was in a wheelchair so he relates well with our clients and their families. He loves his job and per Jim has a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. He has had a role in training every single Service Technician we currently have on staff. Jim is based in our Akron location and also assists in all 4 of our locations wherever the need is the greatest. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family including gold panning and metal detecting with his boys. Jim just recently finished up the adoption process for his new son Shaun Carter Friedlein – congratulations!
