The Mechanized Logging Operations Program - MLOP has returned to the woods this week to train the next generation of loggers and all of the students are now running equipment. Shane and Kelly Marshall of SK Logging have recently put a new Next Generation Cat 336 to work in Lake Taupo forest.
The 336 features the latest in Cat technology and coupled with the Satco 3L2 head makes easy work of the massive Lake Taupo wood, having the power to burn while maintaining the lowest owning and operating costs.
The machine was sold by Rotorua-based Brent Van Der Burg from Terra Cat.

Merci and thank you to Steeve Ladrie for the purchase of H457 harvester in Eastern Quebec. Steeve runs a great operation where production, quality and accurate wood measurements are key. This machine replaces a Cat 521B and Steeve and his veteran operator Marco commented on the improved visibility and stability, better multifunctioning, great power, and speed. Michael Conlogne of Littleton Maine bought this 320 from Milton CAT in 1995. It runs everyday and now has 63,000 hours ! We truly believe that our machines are meant to be rebuild again and again and we appreciate the trust that our customers have in that philosophy.
