We are big fans of local pollinator protectors @theboundbybeautyproject, but this last week has been especially inspiring. That’s because they were recognized by @nextdoor and @hrblock as one of 10 recipients nationwide of the Make Every Block Better initiative. Together we assembled these gardening kits— free to community members who pledge to grow nectar plants and abstain from harmful chemicals in our yards— and have really enjoyed meeting those who are invested in the well being of our bees, butterflies, and beyond. Secondhand September is extended! We had planned a @minima.lina clothing swap the week in March that everything came to a screeching halt. Some of my favorite pieces were brought by awesome people at these events. While we look forward to gathering again, Lina suggested we improvise, so we set up a rack in the shop for continuous swapping thru October 17.
