Dr. Minna Lee is a breast surgeon who practices in Westwood. She is board certified in general surgery and has completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship. Her practice is focused on the management of breast cancer, benign breast diseases, and high-risk patients. Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree with honors from Princeton University and her medical degree from Columbia University where she received the Allen O. Whipple Award for excellence in surgery as well as induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency in general surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles where she served as administrative chief resident. After residency, she completed specialty training in surgical oncology of the breast at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her research interests include understanding the genetic alterations that lead to the development of triple-negative breast cancer to aid in the discovery of targeted therapies.
