Mission Avenue Studio specializes in revitalizing antique and vintage furniture in our studio in Sarasota, Florida. We take the unloved and time worn pieces and turn them into exceptional pieces with fresh and exciting designs and colors, high quality fabrics and fine finishes.
Additionally we supply 19th century art to antique dealers and are agents to a variety of consignors.
We stared our business in early 2012 and due to our rapid growth in sales, we moved from 1500 square foot to our current 10,000 square foot location. It is the largest of its kind in Florida and we are supported by an experienced team of seven which includes upholsterers, artists, carpenters and administration.
We explore and travel to many venues to source our pieces and inspect thousands of them before we acquire our inventory. We tend to hold around five hundred stock pieces at any one time.
Our sales are primarily on line and we recently opened our studio to the local market. We have our own web site - missionavestudio.com Onekingslane.com is our largest on line retailer. We have been chosen to be one of Hunters Alley's vendors for the launch of the website on November 11th. 2013. Hunters Alley is a branch of One Kings Lane consisting of more eclectic pieces rather than One Kings Lane site being tailored towards more timeless pieces.
