So......this is Susan’s last week at Mitchem Dental. She’s retiring after 22 years with us and over 40 years in the dental field!!!! We are certainly going to miss her!!!! Her last day is Thursday, October 1st.
How do say goodbye to such a dear friend and coworker? It will be so hard and tears will be shed for sure. But we wish her all the happiness and love and FREEDOM she deserves!!!!!

Mitchem Dental is open and working hard to take care of you!
The last few weeks have certainly been a learning experience and a whirlwind for ALL of us at our practice. We appreciate you, our patients, for being so understanding and flexible as we navigate this new and strange world we find ourselves in.
The biggest challenge has been trying to reschedule the over 600 appointments that were cancelled due to our office being closed for 3 months. This has been compounded by returning to work with a completely full schedule that has to be thinned out due to the new infection control protocols we have to follow.
Many of you have asked what we have been doing to keep our patients (and ourselves!) safe during dental appointments. We have a section on our website dedicated to our COVID-19 protocols. Check out our website at www.mitchemdental.com for more information.

We miss seeing you!
This is the end of the 4th week of our office closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Can you believe it? We are really missing our patients (and each other!) - but we won't return to the office until it is safe to do so. Your safety and health are of the utmost importance to each and every one of us.
As you all are aware, the governor extended the shelter-in-place mandate through April 30th - so that means we will not be seeing any patients except in the case of an urgent dental emergency at least through that time. We will keep you posted.
