SeniorCare Program and the status of the waiver renewal application to continue the program until December 31, 2028.
On June 15, 2018, the Department of Health Services (DHS) submitted the SeniorCare waiver renewal application to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). With this waiver renewal application, DHS is requesting to continue the SeniorCare Program until December 31, 2028.

Wisconsin 10-Year SeniorCare Waiver Extension Request
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is requesting a 10-year renewal of its section 1115 demonstration project for the SeniorCare Prescription Drug Assistance Program to continue the program through December 31, 2028. SeniorCare, Wisconsin’s prescription drug assistance program for Wisconsin residents who are 65 years of age or older, is designed to help seniors with their prescription drug costs
