Monique Olivares, PA-C is a Nationally-Certified Dermatology Physician Assistant licensed in New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College. She attended the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program at Columbia University and completed her medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Monique Olivares specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology, treating both children and adults. Her areas of expertise include skin cancer, infectious diseases, acne, warts, psoriasis, eczema, moles, and other complex skin conditions such as autoimmune diseases. Her cosmetic services include Botox, Dysport, fillers, skin tag removal, chemical peels, and sclerotherapy. She also performs laser treatments for rejuvenation, scar therapy, cellulite/fat reduction, tattoo removal, blood vessels, sunspots and more.
Monique Olivares is strongly involved in academics and research. She has been involved in numerous studies finding innovative ways of treating dermatological issues and determining efficacy of both medical and cosmetic procedures. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Diplomat of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants.
