I volunteer for the Boulder International Film Festival (@BIFF1) and this summer they are presenting Drive In movies at the Boulder Municipal Airport. We have also been showcasing some of the best musicians in Boulder in a mini concert before the movie. Yes, there is some live music in Boulder.

It is a little strange playing to an audience in cars who honk for appreciation but everyone who has performed has had a good time.

On July 1st Monkton Guitars and the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce celebrated our brick and mortar store 1 year anniversary. We had postponed the ribbon cutting ceremony originally scheduled for April 2. Unfortunately, COVID 19 is still a very real threat and we kept everything small and low key. Many thanks to the Chamber for their support of small business.

Today is the 3rd anniversary since my son Brent took his life. The stones in his garden, with the wonderful messages from friends and family, have faded with time.
