Monoxivent along with Rist & Associates recently completed two projects for Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA.
The installation at Washington Hall will allow future agricultural diesel mechanics to service equipment indoors and remove harmful exhaust fumes from the workspace. This facility has 3 large areas that will provide ample room for students to work on all types of equipment.
The Automotive Technology Center boasts state of the art equipment to assist with training students to become automotive technicians. Outfitted with (30) motorized hose reels with 32 feet of 5-inch Series 4000 hose. The smaller diameter hose will be used to capture the exhaust on gasoline and light diesel pick-ups being serviced.

FRP Solutions by Monoxivent recently completed a sizable UnderDuct project for the Lancer Sport and Recreation Centre at the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. The $73 million facility will offer a modern space to foster athletic excellence and support quality recreational services for thousands of students and the community at large. Fabricated in a combination of both single wall and double wall R-6 construction, the underground pool duct systems featured round UnderDuct sizes up to 48” diameter and a total of 58 register boots for the perimeter of the pool.

Monoxivent has recently provided equipment for two facilities at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. The programs of study include Diesel AG Technology & Automotive Technology. Each facility utilized motorized hose reels – (24) 6” reels at the diesel facility and (30) 4” reels at the automotive facility.
Here we have the first section of a rather large, buried, rectangular outside air duct system for the Waverly Health Center located in Waverly, IA. The outside air louver that this piece attaches to is 18’ wide x 6’ high!
FRP Solutions by Monoxivent is in the ground again! The City of Oskaloosa, IA is constructing a new $31 million Early Childhood Education and Recreation Center building. Here we have some large diameter single wall UnderDuct with rectangular taps used for the buried return air duct system in the pool areas. This Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic UnderDuct will provide corrosion free service for decades to come!
Here are the remaining (35) spring hose reels to complete the order for the California Air Resources Board and test laboratory. This project called on Monoxivent's ability to produce hose reels in custom colors. Each hose reel was assigned a specific color based upon its location in the test lab. Monoxivent partnered with rep firm Haldeman, Inc. for this project.
FRP Solutions by Monoxivent is burying the competition again! Well, actually we’re burying UnderDuct and beating the competition, but you get the idea. Installed in the new Rhodes State College Center for Health Science Education and Innovation building located in Lima, OH, this UnderDuct project was supplied through our Authorized Representative Air Control Products in Toledo, OH. Fabricated in double wall R-6 insulated UnderDuct, this buried supply duct system features our new Grip Seal Clamp Connection System https://fiberglass-duct.com/how-to/grip-seal which significantly reduced installation time.

Another Monoxivent order is ready for shipment! Monoxivent partnered with rep firm Haldeman, Inc. to provide hose reels to the California Air Resources Board. The hose reels will be installed inside engine test cells within the laboratory. Breaking from the traditional red color, these XL Hose Reels have been painted white. They feature a 24" diameter drum with 33' of 12" 7120-hose.
Monoxivent's team is preparing parts for assembly of a 9000-TMTR Motorized Hose Reel. They are also fabricating a TCA-14 for a XL Series Hose Reel.
Monoxivent's production floor is full, as the team works on a large project for a public works facility. The project includes 55 tube type motorized hose reels. Monoxivent is also supplying P2 2-Button (Up/Down) pendant station for operation of the hose reels. The tailpipe adapters are TCA-6 with magnets and lifting sleeves.
