So, FB asks me "what's on my mind"?
I'm going to tell you.
There are a number of you who don't like Donald Trump; I get that. Having acknowledged this, I don't think you have any idea what you are doing by not voting for him in this election.
I will admit that I am a patriot and a pragmatist; guilty as charged on both accounts. Some of you need to wake up and understand that the Presidential election is not a popularity contest; we aren't voting for homecoming king or queen.
This election will shape the country and the world and, as such, the consequences of this election will be felt long after we are dead and gone. Please don't let your personal distaste for Trump's style have you make a dreadful decision that shames the great heroes that died to give you the freedom and prosperity that you now take for granted.
Do you own a business? Do you want that business to succeed and prosper? If so, you'd better get your head out of your behind and understand what your future holds should the Communists (I'm not exaggerating) take control of this country.
Do you like your healthcare? Do you believe in the right to keep and bear arms? If you say yes, vote for President Trump.
What about unborn children? Don't tell me you are a Christian and then vote for Biden-Harris. That dog simply won't hunt. Liberals will tell you that, if we find a bacteria on Mars, that is a sign of life but a fertilized egg in a womb isn't. Don't be stupid; you know the answer.
Do you know (or have you had) someone with Covid-19? Maybe you even had a loved one die from it. While I am terribly sorry for your loss, have you considered the consequences on our great country caused by the lockdowns? How about the businesses that have gone under? What about the suicides? If we'd acted this way prior to World War II, we'd all be speaking German and Japanese right now. Forgive me, but one life (even mine or that of a member of my own family) isn't worth ruining a whole country over. Do you not think that mothers and fathers didn't understand the risks of sending their children to fight for our freedom? Of course they did, but they sent them anyway. They understood personal sacrifice for the TRUE greater good; we don't seem to get that.
So, vote on November 3rd like your life depends on it...because it does.
