Please allow us to introduce our newest team member, Ashlyn Parker. Ashlyn will be stepping into the pivotal role of Lead Groomer. She is a Charleston native who began her grooming career in 2015. However, she has many more years of experience with many animals. Her calm~steady approach lends her an advantage when working with dogs who may have behavioral concerns, such as fear aggression or anxiety, or perhaps health concerns. Her experience base includes most dog breeds and all life stages, puppy to senior. She is very in tune to achieving the owner’s desires and loves grooming dogs of all breeds.
Ashlyn does exceptionally beautiful grooms. Naming just a few, Bichon, Westie, Shihtzu, Poodle, Yorkshire, Spaniel, Schnauzer, Briard, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles. Please help us in welcoming her to Moonshadow! We are so glad to have her here!

Great Plains SPCA shared a list of 10 winter tips for pets. While we don’t typically see freezing temperatures, there were a few tips that are helpful here in the Lowcountry:
Know your dog’s limits! Some dogs are more susceptible to cold than others.
Be seen! Due to Daylight Savings, many of us are relegated to walking our dogs in the dark. Keep yourself and your dog safe by wearing reflective gear and keeping your dog close when walking.
