**COVID-19 Response from Moore Taylor Law Firm**
Moore Taylor Law Firm remains open. We want you to know that our firm is closely following the COVID-19 outbreak, and we are focused on doing our part to prevent the spread of the virus while providing the legal services you need. We are here to help our current clients and consult with anyone interested in our legal services. We will continue to comply with all federal, state, and local emergency orders and guidelines to protect the health and safety of our team, our clients, and our community; but we intend to continue to provide legal services during this crisis.
Currently, all South Carolina Family and Circuit Courts are hearing only emergency matters. All Courts remain open to receive filings. All other hearings have been continued and are being rescheduled after May 1, 2020. Ideas are currently being shared about how to allow the Courts to address other matters, so we remain hopeful.
If you are waiting for a hearing or trial date, please understand we do not yet know when it will be scheduled. These are unprecedented times, and as we receive updated information on the processes being developed by the South Carolina Judicial System, we are updating our systems accordingly.
Even though our office is open, we also will be accommodating self-quarantines and social distancing during the COVID-19 outbreak. If you are uncomfortable with in-office visits, please call ahead to make arrangements for a phone or video conference to ensure your comfort and safety. We are also setting up all systems to hold mediations and meetings by phone and video conference if necessary.
We value the relationship we have built with our clients. We are here, and we will remain here for you during this uncertain time, prepared and committed to meet your needs.
