Jennifer Balkcom is a Mortgage Loan Officer with Movement Mortgage in the Hendersonville NC area. She started her career in the financial industry in the banking realm in 1998. Jennifer received her Associates Degree in Business, Banking and Finance from Blue Ridge Community College. During her eight years with the former Mountain1st Bank, she served her clients by focusing on client relationship and deposit product analysis. Switching gears from a bank to a credit union in 2012 with a focus in lending and financing, she has successfully helped thousands of clients over the years navigate through the financing process from buying a car to homeownership. She has established a base of past clients, realtor partners, financial planning partners but most importantly friends during her 20-year banking career. She currently is the Treasurer with the Mortgage Bankers Association of Western North Carolina. Jennifer is an Affiliate member of the Hendersonville Board of Realtors. She is a member of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce and serves on their Education Foundation committee. Jennifer is currently on several nonprofit boards such as Henderson County Education Foundation and Park Ridge Health. Jennifer volunteers at the St. Gerard House, a school for autistic children. She resides in Hendersonville, NC with her husband Clint and son Douglas.
