With over 20 years experience in the banking and finance Montrell understands the real estate industry and puts his expertise to work for his clients every day. He understands the business so well he's also a real estate investor with his own portfolio of properties. That combination of knowledge makes him effective. In fact, Montrell continues to be awarded the TOP Loan Officer award by The Kentucky Housing Corporation, year after year. During his career, Montrell has covered territories from Indiana, Louisville, Elizabethtown, Western Kentucky, Owensboro to Tennessee.
Upon graduating from Fern Creek High School in Louisville Kentucky, Montrell pursued his degree in Business Management and Finance from Kentucky State University. Montrell continues to be very active in his community by coaching youth and high school sports, mentoring young teens, volunteer for charitable organizations, and serving on the following professional boards, including:
Bullitt County YMCA Annual Giving Campaign, Louisville Metro YMCA Mentor and Black Achievers. He is a Past board member for the Chamber's Young Professionals Division. He also is an active member of the Mortgage Banker's Association, The 100 Black Men of Louisville, the Louisville Chapter of the NAACP and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. When he's not working with us or managing his many properties, he is busy spending time with his two sons and is the Offensive Line and Defensive Line Coach at Newburg Middle School.
