MSU Cystic Fibrosis Center is a core center accredited and funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As an accredited center, we work in collaboration with more than 114 Cystic Fibrosis Centers and 154 affiliate programs nationwide in order to provide high quality specialized care to our patients.
We believe the best way to treat cystic fibrosis is through comprehensive care with patients and family at the center of the care team. With MSU Cystic Fibrosis Center, comprehensive care includes genetics, psychology, a dietitian and a social worker along with the pulmonologists, an infectious disease specialist and a respiratory therapist.
To successfully treat cystic fibrosis, patients need a team that offers good continuity of care, coordinating inpatient and outpatient care no matter where care is received. Therefore, we work closely with hospitals, clinics and diagnostic testing sites to deliver the best possible outcomes.
MSU CF Center is a multidisciplinary clinic that routinely provides testing and consultation on the same day. This allows patients and families peace of mind and minimal disruption of their daily routines.
