Best Hour of Your Life.
MSMBC is a historically vibrant church located directly across the street from Fayetteville State University. Our congregation offers fellowships and relationships that promote spiritual growth and wellness for all ages. Mt. Sinai is a church where everyone can be called by name and have a place to serve. Our worship service begins at 11:00 A.M. every Sunday morning. One of our core values is the belief in Sunday school attendance, “The Best Hour of Your Life.”
We place emphasis on Sunday school for the following reasons: One can read the entire Bible through consistent attendance. One can ask questions and interact with others for feedback. One can develop intimate relationships and prayer partners, and one’s heart can be prepared for worship by attending Sunday school. There are various ministries in our church that offer enrichment. The Senior Ministry offers activities and times of fellowship for the seniors within the congregation.
Other adult ministries that bring the members and friends together for fellowship are our Women’s and Men's Fellowship. In addition, the Youth and Children Ministries provide a strong place where our youth can be themselves but learn the plan of God for their lives. Finally, our College Ministry, which consists of 18-24 year olds, share, study, and spend time with each other. Mt. Sinai believes in mission and outreach. We currently partner with two schools in the E. E. Smith School district; we also support City Rescue Mission and Greater Oaks Center for Boys. It is our goal to extend our arms into the community and provide service for those who are in need. “Mt. Sinai is a place where people are determined to know God and where God is made known."
