HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU CLEAN YOUR SEPTIC TANK?
Although some clean their septic tank on a set schedule, an assessment by our team is the best way to determine when it is time to have it pumped. Generally, we will recommend servicing the system when the base of the floating scum layer is within 6-inches of the outlet pipe and the top of the sludge layer is within 12-inches.
While the EPA recommends every three to five years, it also depends on your household.

I had an issue with my cesspool and the main line .. Jim and Kyle were very responsive , quick and knew what they were doing.. They even honored their warrant and came back a second time.. I definitely would recommend and use them again.. Great service!

Based on a few reccomendations and good reviews I called up Murphs Drainage Solutions to get my cesspool pumped. Good thing I did if I have waited any longer I would have been in a situation. Not only did Kyle show up within 2 hours that I called, on a Sunday, ( no extra charge) he went right to work quickly locating my tanks, digging and performing job as necessary. He was very professional, honest and very much fair prices. Very pleased with their service and will use them again.
A new customer of ours has an old block cesspool that hasn’t been serviced in 2 years. This led to a blocked line. The old block cesspool lost its drainage, which allows solids to make their way into your main line pipe, and then causing it to clog. Over time, this may cause water to overflow into your house. Please keep in mind it is better to fix it and follow maintenance guidelines when it comes to your cesspool to avoid bigger costs in the future!
