Rosie and I started selling Murphy Wall Beds in 2007 when we opened a small furniture store in San Luis Obispo, California. Two years later, we started devoting all our efforts to manufacturing and development. I saw what was lacking in the Murphy Wall Beds being manufactured from other companies in California, and felt I had the ability and means to improve both the quality of the raw materials being used, as well as adding greatly to the craftmanship.
