Starting a new project on a 100 year old church in Charlotte
September 2020 projects.
Small project for a long time client at Longview CC. 100 year old Reclaimed Buckingham Slate, with great copper accents.
Looking over our slate and Helping set access for painters on one of our favorite projects from 2007. Graduated Vermont slate roof with fantail hips.
Fabricated copper chimney caps on one of the most iconic roofs in Eastover. The guys at Murr and Laney (including my uncle and grandfather) installed this copper roof originally in 1962.
Looking for historic data on one of our projects, I came across this link. Murr & Laney installed or maintains half of these roofs. A good friend (Ben Canon) installed many of the other beautiful Roofs on this list.

December 2020, Working hard on two Large slate projects.
So proud of these two hard working guys and how well they work together. Matt’s son, Noah, said it best when he watched them put up a basketball goal in my yard: “they can read each other’s mind...didn’t talk at all.” A talent they bring to Murr& Laney every day.
