With all the covid stuff going on and more people getting symptoms and testing positive I want to tell you what helped me through it.
Granted some people’s immune systems are stronger and can fight it off or not symptoms, but what about the people that need a little extra for their immune system, like me.
I feel I was in good health and rarely ( w exception of migraines ) get sick.
Maybe it has to do with blood type or plasma or something else, I’m not really sure why it attacks one person more than the other.
What I do know is what helped me.
Vitamins, in liquid form, solid form and sunlight.
A steady dose of these, I believe, helped me get through it faster.
I drank orange juice( vitamin C) and lots of it.
I took vitamin D tablets and got out in the sun for natural vitamin D ( vitamin D keeps your bones and muscles strong )
And I took zinc: ( this helps fight off bacteria and viruses )
As well as drinking alkaline water: ( has a higher PH level and can help w acids in the body )
Maybe these all are having a “placebo” effect, but, to me, they helped and are helping.
I have continued and will keep continuing to incorporate these into my daily regimen.
Vitamin Intake is an important part of recovery, adding it to your daily regimen will only help you be stronger and healthier.
Gobble gobble what’s causing your wobble?
Yea, I see it, I see you, but do you see it?
Or has your body adapted to it?
It happens to all of us, it’s what our body does.
I’m talking about compensation.
Compensation happens everyday, mentally, emotionally and physically.
Today though, we are focusing on the physical.
Physical compensation is probably the most common.
Physical compensation happens when one side of the body or body part is working harder than the other.
This causes the way we walk or move to respond more so one way than it normally would to make up for the other side that isnt responding as well.
Your body adapts to this new movement over time, either making it less noticeable, or very visually apparent.
And all while affecting different areas that the injury may not have even occurred at.
Regular massage can help regulate and repair your body and muscle so that doesn’t happen.
Massage promotes blood flow to the body and helps keep the joints and muscles flexible and smooth.
If you haven’t received your FREE 30 minute massage inbox or text me to set it up, or, if you’re at the gym, there is a sign up sheet on my side by my office.
Let’s Get that wobble fixed.
It’s ya duty!
It’s your duty to fix many things in life pertaining to your personal journey, whether it’s mentally, emotional or physically.
However, one of these can lead to the others and vice versa.
You have to be in a good mindset to stay and stick with a regimen, but you still gotta take that first step.
Is it hard?
Yes, sometime it is, sometimes you’ve been so used to one way of life and living that you don’t see or want other ways to mess up what your “comfortable” with.
Everyone has to step outside their own comfort zone to start a new path and see results.
There’s a lot of excuses sometimes, even with myself, but, I’m human and I don’t always see what’s right in front of me sometimes.
That’s why I have friends and mentors and teachers to help me see them.
It’s no different with someone coming to see me for the 1st time and not knowing what is hurting or causing pain.
Then it’s me that is the teacher and I help you see what may be the underlying problem with you’re movement and form a plan to fix it.
In the end, though, you have to make that decision to go forward, regularly.
It’s always good to have recovery options, but you gotta get your workout regimen going as well.
it’s much easier to get a relaxing massage and repair your body than it is to start a workout regiment and beat it up, but, they are both necessary.
Take, day-days advice, and remember, it’s YOUR duty.
Like last year, I am doing Black Friday after next specials starting December 4th-December 7th.
Keep any eye out for more postings leading up to it.
If you have any questions, inbox or text me.
This year has been tough on all of us and some more than others.
A lot of things have changed and may stay that way.
You know what doesn’t change though?
Massages!
Massage can help you relax and take your mind off of things.
Massage, also paired with working out, is another distraction, and can keep your body and immune system in great shape to fight off these sort of things when they happen.
All we can do is roll with the punches ( this is why we need kickboxing back, lol ) and take care of how WE react to things in the moment.
Some people haven’t been affected as much by this, and they still come and go, and live their life, but, some have more of a hard time with it.
Some are out of work or are seeing and dealing with things they shouldn’t have to.
Again, it’s been a tough year and the best thing we can do though is take a deep breath and relax and move forward day by day.
So, I want to help out where I know I can the best.
I want people to feel like this is something just for them ( you can use them any way you want to though ) so it singles them out and gives them an outlet to destress, and relax.
Massage will rejuvenate your body and mind, allowing for more clear decisions and better overall health and immunity.
If massage is something you think will help your health and well being, inbox or text me if you have any questions or to set up an appointment.
If you want to start a new regimen, now is the time.

March 2002-January 2003
These 10 months brought me to where I am today.
As some of you have seen on my website, ( I go into detail a bit more ) but I had a vehicular accident that changed the course of my life.
Was it due to injury, yes and no, but it wasn’t a major injury.
However, it did bring about a natural talent, I guess.
Which then, in turn, lead me to this point and time.
There were many things that happened in that span of time, but, most apparent, was my car crash and then my grandfather passing away.
We weren’t terribly close, until the end.
And, not only for myself, but for him, I said I would never give up on massage as I was able to help him recover from his injury before his sudden passing.
Fast forward 19 years later, I’m am doing just that and not giving up on massage, as I have my own business now, and have had it for 6 years.
Now, I know it’s been insane and most of us have went through a lot this year, but that’s what makes what I do even more special in my opinion.
With all the talk of immunity and everything going on, my my particular talent can add greatly to your life.
Massage has many benefits.
It can help with your immunity, and mental and physical needs, which is what we need most right now.
Now is not the time to give up, but push forward and make yourself as strong as you can be in all areas.
Black Friday After Next massage specials come out this Friday December 4th end will end Sunday evening, the 6th.
As a limited offer (only 5 available) there will be be a huge discount on 12-pack package.
Don’t miss out.

Who are you?
Some people are bodybuilders, some people are pro sports figures, some people are fighters.
Then there are just regular everyday people that keep the world running, and everyone of those people need help of their own.
So, who am I?
Me, Im just a person that tries to help people of all demographics, including athletes.
Football, hockey, soccer, gymnastics,body builders, Fighters, runners and more.
I used to participate in some of these sports, personally (definitely not running though, lol) now I just work on the athletes that are still actively In them.
I feel, however, that since I have been active in them myself, that I understand what will and won’t work with different people.
Different sports or hobbies require different techniques.
It’s good to have that experience and to be able to carry it over.
Im so happy to be able to do what I love to do, professionally and still have it line up with what I love personally as well.
Whether you play sports just as a hobby or you’re a professional athlete, or work out everyday, or you have a very active job, you need the recovery to continue to do what you do in life.
If you or anyone you know of plays sports or are active in the gym, or just lead an active life, get yourself on a recovery plan and ready to go for the new year.
You’ll be surprised how well your body responds.
Today is the last day for Black Friday After Next specials.
You owe it to your body to take less stress off of it since you’ve been working it so hard.

Do you just have a resolution or do you have a plan?
Resolutions are nice, but how many are followed through with?
And why is it only one night out of the year?
A PLAN is much more stable and meaningful, as you have to put steps into and follow through with them to make that plan happen.
So, you’re more apt to follow it even if obstacles arise, and complete your goal.
A resolution, just allows you to talk about it and then give it up.
Now, that’s not to say a
resolution can’t adapt into a plan, but the odds of that are slim.
My personal plan is to get more massage Clientele and offer more healing and health benefits with new massage techniques throughout the year.
My plan is to also have all my financial responsibilities paid off by the end of this next year as well.
And then there is another plan for when/if that doesn’t happen.
As the saying goes:
“Everyone has a plan till they’re punched in the mouth” -mike Tyson.
Here’s a new one:
“Plan to get punched in the mouth and then have a plan counter it” Chris cox LMT.
If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
What’s your plan for 2021?
Shoulders tense?
Don’t have time to take care of yourself?
Rather be somewhere else?
I think we all go through these things/thoughts sometimes and just ignore what we need and just move on with life.
That’s how we are built, but, we can be better.
We can be more efficient.
We can be more mobile.
We can not have as much pain.
All it takes is to make a choice.
Just like Bernie.....
Bernie is looking a little tense.
Bernie could really care less about being here.
Bernie has his own things to do.
But, he made a sacrifice, he showed up anyway, and, in the end, this will be good for him.
The same goes for you, unless you make the initial choice to do something, it won’t come to pass, and you won’t find out if it’s good for you or not.
It’s always that 1st step that’s the most important..
So, put your mittens on and go.
If you haven’t signed up for your free 30 min massage, or, if you need to get in, I am booking into March at the moment, but do get cancellations, and I have a waiting list I can put you on.
Inbox me with any questions.
Even the fixer has to fix himself sometimes
What Is Cupping Therapy?
Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China.
It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction.
This relieves muscle tension, like massage, as well as the suction facilitates blood flow which can improve overall blood flow and promote faster healing.
So how do you incorporate this into massage?
When most people think of masssge, they think of deep pressure pushing into muscles to relieve tension.
Cupping therapy is just the opposite.
If massage is compression, then cupping would be DE compression.
So, a less intrusive modality (for people sensitive to touch) for some while still getting the same or better benefits.
If you’ve never tried cupping therapy or have and would like to again, this modality is available to you in my office.
If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment, I’m booking up fast, let’s get you on the schedule somewhere while we can.
Hips hurting?
Decreased range of motion or flexibility when walking or exercising or other activities?
Do you know what your psoas muscle is?
The psoas (you have 2 of them) are your main hip flexors.
Your Psoas and hip rotation play a big role in everyday activities.
They play an even bigger role when you’re an athlete or workout or active, consistently.
A strong psoas equals stronger more fluid hip rotation or flexion and extension.
If you’re an amateur or professional athlete, you have to be in top top shape and make sure all your parts are moving in conjunction with one another.
That is not always the case, as with each sporty there are different movements.
Let’s take MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) for example, MMA incorporates nearly all ranges of motion and flexibility is a must.
In this particular case (and this can be people that work out too) you have to have a strong base, or center of gravity.
In order to have that strong center you have to have a strong core, whether it’s to withstand ground work or submissions, or throw strikes.
The same core is in play, when lifting weights or swinging kettle bells.
All that core movement works in conjunction with each other but the psoas is the base of that core, working behind the scenes.
If your psoas is not working properly it can affect everything..
It affects your gait which can make you walk funny or favor one side or another, due to your hips being elevated or rotated.
It can affect your shoulders as well, as we use our shoulders and arms to walk or run
,or help with a movement the psoas is initiating.
So, again, wether it’s kettle bells, hip thrusts, or roundhouse kicks on the pads or bags, a strong psoas and core is going to help you have more rotation and power.
So, If you’re a fighter, athlete, gym rat, or even just want to move better, period.
If you are looking to add more rotation and power to your workouts, kicks, sprints or more, inbox me to set something up.

Are you new at working out?
Or Have you been working out regularly for a long time?
Either way, how was yesterday’s workout different than others?
How can or will you recover in order to keep your pace on this new journey?
Did you know, that when you work out and don’t recover or don’t work out at all, your muscles shorten and get tight, this can cause many issues physically with the muscles and the joints.
Massage is designed to elongate the muscles and reduce lactic acid as well as lubricate the joints for better movements.
If you’ve never had one or are looking for someone or someplace new, your first half hour is free here.
Sign up, come in and get a massage and see how well this works for you and your body both pre or post workout.
Recovery should be at least a once a month thing, maybe more, especially when working out regularly or leading an active lifestyle.
Don’t wait until you “can’t move” or are too sore to do anything.
Take care of your body and it will take
care of you.
Do you need help with stress?
Do you need help with depression or anxiety?
Did you know?
Infrared heat therapy can affect you emotionally as well as physically?
Everything can affect your emotions one way or another.
Food, settings, home life, job, etc.
Infrared heat is no different, as it’s energy so, it resonates with us on both a physical and psychological level.
Some of the emotional benefits of infrared heat can be:
* Decreased anxiety
* Decreased depression
* Stress relief
* Overall mental clarity
* Increases self esteem
As well as other somatic symptoms, and significantly improved relaxation.
Does this sound like something you would use?
Have you used this before?
How well did it work for you?
Stay tuned, tomorrow I will explain the physical benefits of infrared therapy.
Did you know there are different power levels of infrared therapy?
There is “near” infrared (this is what is in my office already)
Then there is “mid”infrared therapy as well.
There is also “far infrared”
They each have their benefits but overall they all add to health and well being.
Now, being infrared and on the electromagnetic spectrum, radiation is involved.
However, if you’ve seen my past posts about vibretion and frequency, then saying that this is very low EMF frequency should make sense.
I will explain the differencesbetween all ranges of the spectrum so as to let you know what each can and will do.
Today we will focus on “near” infrared and its benefits.
“Near infrared”
To start with, I already have one of these in my office, this is the item I call doc oc.
Benefits of “near infrared” are:
1. Reduced inflammation:
2. Reduced pain:
3. Reduced recovery times after training (or before)
4. Improved fertility and increased testosterone levels:
5. Healthier, plumper-looking skin due to increased collagen production:
6. The stimulation of hair growth (see even I can benefit from it)
7. Improved circulation (improved blood flow)
So, Many benefits of the “near” type of infrared, but more cutaneous and external, but still very affective.
This as well as other therapies are available to you al la carte or with your massage service when you come into the office.
Tune in tomorrow for benefits of full spectrum and far” infrared therapy.
Did you know shoulder pain doesn’t always come from the shoulder.
The shoulder innervates with the upper extremities but it’s not always the culprit.
You see, the shoulder girdle is made up of many different muscles and tendons, that both originate and insert into the neck and pectoral, lower arm areas.
For today’s post, we’re going to focus on anterior shoulder pain.
Anterior shoulder pain can be caused by posterior pain or tension in both the traps and cervical area as well, for different reason.
However, the pectoralis minor houses the biceps brachial muscle that feeds into your shoulder and down your arm into the brachialis.
If you’re having any shoulder pain and and sure why, inbox me, and we can figure out a plan for you.
The body is resilient and 9/10 x it’s a simple fix that you just have to make time for.
Pre or post workout Infrared sauna benefit?
Which is better?
I say they both have their pluses, by allowing the body to wake and and be more energized to get through the workout.
However, it can also relax you to certain point as well that will maybe make you not want to work out.
It can dehydrated you so make sure before and after you, that you are hydrating as you need that water in your system.
Either way they both have there benefits.
Here is an article below of you would like to check it out.
Again, as of today, I am offering singular sauna sessions and package sauna sessions.
Inbox me to set one up.

19 years........
How it started: car crash (I almost died)
How it’s going: it’s hot! (now I’m thriving in my sauna!)
19 years ago, today, I was coming home from my brothers house with my cousin and the last thing I remember was turning east onto Truman road.
We had a really bad car accident, I was in a semi-coma for 3 days and he had to have his jaw wired shut.
I woke up 3 days later, no broken bones or scratches, but a deep contusion on my left arm.
I only got relief from massage, but not just any massage, just from myself, which was weird but now it makes sense, lol.
So, I enrolled in massage school the very next month, and this started my massage journey.
19 years later, I can say that I have accomplished something and became a business owner and am successful at it.
I can now help other people just like I’ve wanted to.
Now I have many ways to do it.
So, some of you may have figured it out already (cuz I’ve been SOOO subtle, lol) but, today, I had an infrared sauna put in here at my office.
So, now, on top of all the other modalities I offer, I have another one to help you achieve your best health goals.
As some know, I already have a “near” infrared therapy machine, that works more superficially.
Well, Now I have a “far” infrared therapy sauna.
There will be more on the benefits of each in a later post.
But, right now, I’d like to sit back and enjoy where I’ve been and how far I’ve come
In 19 years.
I’m very grateful to be in the position I am in.
Thank you all that have helped me get there.
So, yesterday I posted about the emotional benefits of infrared therapy. And how they relax you mentally and can give you an aura so to speak, along with more clarity and so on.
However, it’s not just mental and emotional healing that infrared light can help with.
It also helps physically with your body.
Here are some of those benefits:
Physical benefits of infrared therapy.
* alleviates pain
* Heals muscle injury
* Rejuvenates the skin
* Rescues blood pressure while increasing circulation
* Helps lose weight ( no it’s not a “fix it” you still have tk do the physical work)
* Decreased cellulite
* Detoxifies organs.
All of this can be done through regular massage too, infrared saunas are a little less invasive though if you’re not into massage (who’s not into massage?)
Who would be or has been interested in infrared saunas.
Visible (and invisible) Light IS vibration and frequency...
All light, seen or unseen, is a wave (or frequency/vibration)
Our bodies are balls of energy and at our core are vibration and frequency.
This is why light affects our biology, our emotions, our physical Body and more.
The sun, the biggest form of light, sends those vibrations and frequencies to us in the form of heat just like infrared, as well as natural vitamin D.
But, in case you don’t get out much infrared light can also give you vitamin D intake as well, without potentially
causing damage to your body.
However, just like the sun, you should still monitor they times you are in the Sauna.
Dehydration can set in if in for too long, but, like you’re told during workouts, keep hydrated and you’ll be fine.
This is GREAT pre/post workout addition, just like massage, or, just whenever you feel like it.
One thing is for sure though, once you add your workouts, massage and now infrared saunas, your vib/frequency level will be as high as it’s ever been.
Don’t get complacent and just stop after awhile, you still gotta do the work.
What is your idea of a typical “spa” day or massage appointment.
What do you look for?
What kinda pressure do you like?
Do you like lights or candles?
What kind of music do you like?
Are you into just massage or do you like to try new things and new modalities?
What do you want you experience to be like?
How long should you use an Infrared sauna for?
What are Ideal time frames for infrared sauna treatments to get the most benefit?
Most ideal time frames range anywhere from 25-45 minutes.
However, you can go less if you need to.
You can go longer if you need to as well ( but that just depends on the person and their hydration levels)
How many visits can you do in a week/month?
How many visits you do in a week is not limited, however, just like the sun, and, though infrared, be careful of what your suscepting your body too and how much.
Infrared light therapy is not dangerous.
And used properly can be very beneficial.
Also, Again it needs to be noted that this is a separate service from what you get with your massage service, as this service alone is 25-45 minutes long.
Or $40 for a whole hour.
If you have any questions, inbox me.
Verbal appointments are available at the moment.
Online scheduling will hopefully be up by end of the week.
What to wear in an infrared sauna?
Some of you have used a sauna before but some haven’t, so the attire may not be known by everyone.
So, just in case, I want to go over the “dress code” since it get’s hot in there and I don’t want anyone to overheat.
Towels
Loose fitting clothing
Undergarments
Swimsuits
Any light fitting clothing
Obviously, this isn’t going to be like a big box gym sauna setting.
So, while I have room for 3 people in the Sauna at once, I don’t expect there to be that many (unless you don’t mind) lol.
Not just for the sake of privacy but also so clients that are using it have some room to relax.
Also, above all else, be sure to hydrate.
Anyway, it’s a work in progress, but, its here and available to anyone that wants to use it.
Inbox me to set it up.
*you can bring your own towel but I also will provide them.
Having trouble with movement and range of motion?
Having trouble with blood flow and energy?
Want to find something to help with those issues and others?
Benefits of infrared Sauna therapy:
* Better sleep
* Relaxation
* Detoxification
* Weight loss
* Relief from sore muscles
* Relief from joint pain
* Clear and tighter skin
* Improves circulation
* Helps with chronic fatigue syndrome.
You have this and other resources available to you at my location if you would like to use them.
Some of my machines and tools are able to be used autonomously and are available in place of, or until we can get you scheduled for a massage.
Inbox me if you would like to set up an appointment.
(Scheduler is still coming for online scheduling for the sauna)
