"Believe in the impossible and don't limit yourself" speaks to the heart of visionary, Brian Simmons. After 10 years of teaching general music, band and chorus classes in the public schools, Brian set his sights on changing the way people experience learning music. Together with his wife Nicole, they spent a year and half of praying, researching, and planning to open a music school with a focus on providing quality education. They met businesswoman and music educator Rosalind Thrift based in Sydney, Australia who introduced them to her curriculum and system of teaching. It was a perfect opportunity.
In 2008, Music Schools International, Peachtree City in Fayette County opened its doors and became the first U.S. based independent affiliate to join the ISM/MSI Network of over 30 schools.
Since then, Music Schools International has expanded to offer a variety of music classes, camps, and workshops. The future is bright as we continue to evolve in providing quality music education for children, teens, and adults in a fun, progressive and unpressured way.
