Jeffrey Wheeler, DO, has more than 20 years of experience diagnosing complex causes of pain and helping men and women find long-term pain relief. Through his work at Myofascial Pain Specialists, he serves the Massapequa, New York, area by offering his specialized knowledge and excellent patient care.
Dr. Wheeler earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, New York. He then completed an internship at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York, and a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford, New Jersey.
He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association as well as the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. He currently serves as the emergency medical services director for both the Terryville Fire Department and the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, both in New York. He also serves on the Pediatrics Committee and Stroke Team Committee at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, New York.
Dr. Wheeler uses all of this training and expertise to give each of his patients the most effective pain management possible. He has helped thousands of patients get relief from minor to complex pain problems. Dr. Wheeler is dedicated to making care as convenient as possible for his patients, so he works from multiple locations in the Massapequa area.
